Day To Be Crossed

Yay, finally today I have time to enjoy Palembang, sightseeing of Palembang city. Thank you for Ayu and her "friend" who invite me and Wena to see the city ^_^

This morning me and Wena go to church together (Ayu, why do you lazy to go to church? The God is asking, hehehe) by "becak", traditional transportation in Palembang (cannot find "becak" anymore in Jakarta, but it is really nice to have a nostalgy). At church we saw a cute baby brought by her mother to get blessed from the father, she is really cute…. But we cannot find her anymore after the church (Wena don’t kidnap the baby ^_^), really wanna pinch her puffed up cheek.

After waiting few hours, finally Ayu come out to my hotel with her "friend". Yu, we are waiting for such a long time, hope it don’t disturb you ^_^

We have great time, sailing Musi river using speed boat to a small island in the middle of the river. Just enjoy the wind and the water of Musi river, hahaha… We pass the "Ampera" bridge and "Sriwijaya" fertilizer factory, one of the biggest factory in Indonesia.

There is a small temple at the island, many people go to the temple during "Cap Go Meh" festival, also half built pagoda . Maybe it’s not crowded today because it’s not a special day to go to a temple.

We feel so dirty and wet because of the water from the river, so…. next stop is salon ^_^

Before that, I get a chance to take a picture with "Ampera" bridge, the famous bridge in Palembang, I heard this is the longest bridge at Indonesia (correct me if I’m wrong!)

I wash my hair and do creambath, really nice, this is one way to do "brain wash", and Wena cut her hair.

Finally we back to hotel and go out to have dinner at one cafe at Palembang Square. Some of Wena’s friend is joining the dinner. Really nice and friendly, we laugh and talk about many things while having dinner. Makes me remember during the "old" days with my "old" friends while I stay in Medan and Surabaya for such a long time. Miss you all guys…. ^_^

It’s raining again! So, Wena’s friend send me back to hotel by car, actually it’s just a few step from the mall, but I don’t want to make my hair wet anymore (like yesterday) coz i has just do creambath! Thank’s guys for sending me home, hope we can chat again in Jakarta, nice to share the time with you….

Wow…. my voice is getting sexy now, you should hear it ^_^

Actually should say, it’s better for me not speaking, hahaha….

This morning I wake up because of the call from someone, but finally I didn’t pick up, too lazy too answer, it still my sleeping time. Then I feel that my throat is hurt. Very difficult to speak, even drink a water… how pity… Then I continue my sleep again.

When I totally wake up, it’s getting better (in my opinion). I can speak, but not in a normal way. Then I get my breakfast, I choose porridge, I think it helps me recover. I’m afraid to eat other food, even it seems more interesting.

Actually I confuse why my throat feel so sick. I didn’t eat something wrong this few days, should say I’m too busy to eat. Yesterday I already felt not so well with my throat, but I still can eat normally for my brunch. Last night, I went out with Ayu around 10 PM for dinner, I only eat fried rice and hot tea, nothing more. How can it getting worst this morning?

I still want to taste some delicious food here, I still want to eat mpek mpek, I still want to speak normally, hiks…. what happen with my lovely voice….

GA 114 finally landed at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin airport, Palembang, oooohhhh…. I feel so relieved. During the trip, after take off from Jakarta, the weather is not friendly, the plane are badly shaking, maybe because of the wind, I really feel uncomfortable especially so many plane accident this few month.

First impression of Palembang, the airport is nice, can say good if you know that many bad airport in Indonesia especially in small city. My friend say this is the new airport, has just built in 2006. But… the taxi is so expensive!!!!! Triple than Jakarta

Nice hotel, with 24 hours internet access, but a little slow… Beside is mall and not far away there is a tend restaurant with cheap price ^_^

Then i went to the office, it’s only 10 minutes by taxi but it cost 40 thousand rupiah. Wow!!!!! No more taxi…. Start tomorrow I will take bus or motorcycle, it’s unreasonable price!

We are 10 people here with different purpose, but we try our best to spend dinner time together. While have dinner, suddenly I met an "old" friend, so surprised! What a small world =)

So, next plan is finish my jobs, then travelling to nice place here, wanna go to "ampera" bridge, also wanna eat "mpek mpek", special food from Palembang

Anyway, today I make a cake for my mom, she is going to share the cake with her friend at the clinic. Hope they like it ^_^

I make "steam brownies" and  I’m going to share all fo you the recipee, maybe you can try.

First, prepare all the ingredients:
chocolate block, margarine, chocolate flour, wheat, milk flour, baking powder, eggs, chocolate sprinkle, and sugar

Then do as follow:
1. boil a water, put chocolate block and margarine in a small bowl and steam it at the boiling water untill be chocolate pasta. Keep it warm
2. put sugar and 8 eggs in a bowl, mix it untill be a dough
3. after few minutes, put chocolate flour, wheat, milk flour, and baking powder to the dough
4. mix again the dough for a few minute
5. put chocolate pasta to the dough
6. prepare baking pan and steamer
7. put half of the dough to the baking pan and steam it for 15 minutes
8. put chocolate sprinkle to the top of the half cooked dough
9. put another half of the dough after the chocolate sprinkle
10. steam it for 30 minutes

Now, you are ready to eat your "steam brownies".

Do "the cheater" knows that friendship is build on faith?

Do "the cheater" know that a friend in need is a friend indeed?

Do "the cheater" know that to build a trust is not like go shopping? Which one I like then buy…

How dare "the cheater" hurt my friends feeling?

How dare "the cheater" used our friendship as a game?

How dare "the cheater" take an advantage of our good friendship?

Does "the cheater" know the feeling if your best friend feel disappointed of you?

Then… why you still cheating?

Do you know that being cheated is hurt?

Do you feel my friend feeling now, "the cheater"?

Have you ever feel sad?

Please….. stop what you have done now and return back the thing that not belongs to you!

It’s a surprising day for my sister, but not for me. This afternoon, my sister called me when I was in office. She told me "sis, pelase don’t surprise", I just thinking something bad happen, but suddenly she said "you got a car, it’s honda jazz, you got a letter from Nova magazine and PT. Unilever that you won a prize". In my mind only one think, it’s such a liar. Somebody try to cheat me. I told my sister, just left it, it’s impossible. My sister still try to convince me, she said that there was my hand writing in the letter, a proof that I ever join some quiz". I told her that I didn’t have any idea how my handwriting was there, but for sure, it’s just some body want to cheat, then I turn off the phone.

But, a few minutes later, my other sister call me again, try to convince me, and I hear many voices behind her (my other sister and my maid), they seems so happy. Then I told her again, I don’t have time to play, just asked her to call mom, let my mom convince her that it was a liar.

When I arrived home, I saw the letter, I just thought that the one who sent the letter was someone smart, they put so many proved inside, include my handwriting (cut it from piece of post card that I ever sent), even my sister is smart, still can be cheated.

Here is my analysis why I can tell the letter is lied:

1. I had never sent any quiz for such long period of time

2. Many letter to cheat people nowadays

3. I’m too busy to take care with such kind of news

4. I’m clever ^_^

So guys, please be careful if you receive any kind of letter that told you won a kind of prize.. It just a lie! Check it carefully and call the coresponding owner (not from the letter of course), can check from information centre - 108.

To avoid the same thing happen, please be as clever as me ^_^

There is a new car coming this morning, not totally new, it’s only second hand car, but it’s still nice. At least it not cost so much if I broke it (hope I’ll not do it ^_^)

First of all, my mom ask me to do some drive test. My mom buy this car to increase my driving skill, as you know, my previous car is Escudo, such a big one for me. This new little car is really small. It’s Daihatsu "Ceria", the black one. The interior is not as good as Escudo, it’s very simple, but who cares, I just want to drive it… not to enjoy the interior….

This afternoon, I try this new car, actually it is not as comfortable as my previous car, but it’s lighter than Escudo. It makes me more confident to drive it! Finally, my maid accompany me to go around my living area. From home, kepa duri, green ville, till taman ratu then turn back. My mom not allow me to go far coz there still something problem with the tax and other letters. What a save drive! Only a motorcycle cut my way when I want to turn right, makes my maid scream. But it’s not my fault, that’s my way, such a foolish guy.

At least, I can go around to enjoy my driving and the friendly wind…

Anyway, happy april’s foolish day. Hope no body cheat you today =)
